The process by which files are transferred to the web server is called "FTP" (File Transfer Protocol). You have unlimited access via FTP 24 hours a day.

Before you can begin uploading to our FTP site, you will need to download one of the following software programs.

Even if you are familar with FTP, please read this section fully so you are aware of the file transfer limitations, the compression software available and please email us at sales@advdigital.com so we can get your order in the system on time and correctly.

All files must be compressed with either Zip (PC) or Stuffit (Mac) before transferring files not only to reduce file size but to limit corrupting the files when downloading.

Our FTP site can be located at: ftp.advdigital.com but must be accessed through a FTP software package that is listed above. (fetch or cuteftp).
STEPS For uploading to ftp.advdigital.com
Step 1. Download and install FTP software package that is listed above. (fetch or cuteftp). More detailed information can be found at the above links. Step 2. Follow the information provided in the links above for transferring of files and FAQ. Step 3. Open up your FTP software program and it will prompt you to enter a HOST NAME. Type in - ftp.advdigital.com Step 4. Leave Host and Password blank, the main directory will pop up. It will look like the picture below if you are using fetch. Step 5. DOUBLE-CLICK on INCOMING Step 6. You can now begin transferring your compressed files from your computer to the FTP. Files can be transferred by either clicking on PUT FILE or by finding your files on your hard drive and dropping and dragging into the "incoming" folder. Step 7. Please send an email to ftptransfer@advdigital.com alerting us of your FTP transfer and necessary instructions for completing your job. VERY IMPORTANT: File size is limited to 50 MB Please email us at ftptransfer@advdigital.com so we know who the files are coming from, so we can download promptly and get your order into the system.
